I'm not terribly fond of conspiracy/doomsday/whatever theorists, especially given that absolutely no-one seems to take into account the innumerable other "predicted" ends of the world. Remember Y2K, guys? Niburu back in 2003? The Rapture only a few months back? Gee, what do you mean those never happened?
